Roberts Family Fruit cherries are ready to eat from middle to late December when they are a kiwi favourite for Christmas. Our main cherry crop for export starts in early January with our peak production ramping up just in time for our fruit to be enjoyed across Asia Pacific for Chinese New Year.
The cherry harvest is usually just six to eight weeks. During this time the teams work long intense hours picking and packing these delicious fruit for our customers to enjoy. With very little down time during cherry harvest we breath a sigh of relief and celebrate a job is done.
